Foodie Stop | Vegan | Boston, MA | Road Trip To Maine

As you road trip in and around Boston, be sure to visit The Cornish Pasty Co. located at 51 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. This charming restaurant offers a variety of pies on its menu to satisfy those who are Vegans & Vegetarians to those who are Meat lovers.

Cornish Pasty Co. first opened in 2005 and specializes in pasties — hand pies with a meat or vegetable filling that is wrapped in pastry dough. There are existing locations in Arizona and Las Vegas, but the forthcoming spot in Back Bay will be the first East Coast location for the company.

Aside from pasties, Cornish Pasty Co. serves sides, salads, and soups. Fillings for the pasties include everything from balsamic portobello mushrooms and bangers and mash to pepperoni, salami, pork, meatballs, and lamb.

You are able to sit outside in a charming section of Boston, or inside in a quaint pub atmosphere. Browse the menu to decide which authentic Cornish pie to sample & explore their custom cocktails to complement your pie. http://www.cornishpastycoboston.com/

We enjoyed the two pies featured above & below:

Veggie Meatball - Homemade lentil meatballs, fresh basil, marinara, & fresh mozzarella. Served with marinara.

Veggie Tikka Masala -Curry marinated cauliflower, tikka masala sauce, green bell peppers and curried potatoes. Served with mint-yogurt

The deliciously brewed coffee is enjoyed as a pint... no need for refills here....
